Pakistan Army Confirms Indian Missile Strikes
Pakistan’s military confirmed on Wednesday that Indian missile strikes targeted three locations within Pakistani territory: Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and the Ahmed East area of Bahawalpur, according to the Express Tribune.
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, reported that the strikes resulted in the death of one child, while a man and a woman suffered severe injuries.
In a late-night press briefing, DG ISPR remarked, "Not long ago, the cowardly enemy India launched air strikes on the Subhanullah mosque in Bahawalpur’s Ahmed East area, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, targeting three sites from the air."

He confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force had scrambled jets in response. "All of our air force jets are airborne. This shameful and cowardly attack was launched from within India’s airspace, and they were never allowed to enter Pakistan’s airspace."
Lt Gen Chaudhry further emphasized that Pakistan would retaliate at a time and location of its choosing. "Let me be clear: Pakistan will respond to this at a time and place of our own choosing."
He also added that damage assessments were in progress and that further updates would be provided once confirmed. Local reports from Muzaffarabad indicated a complete power blackout following the explosions, as per the Express Tribune.
In the midst of these developments, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that a conflict with India is now "inevitable" and could occur "at any time."
