United President Donald Trump’s latest appearances and action have again sparked speculation over his physical and cognitive health. Several videos from the White House Easter Egg Roll celebration show him appearing cautious while descending steps alongside First Lady Melania Trump. The debate has been further fuelled by his absurd answer to a reporter’s question about his “mental health”.
Speculation Grows Over Trump's Health
Trump appeared to have a bruise on his right hand, covered with makeup and a bald spot during Easter celebrations. Netizens quickly took note of the details and started circulating the image captured from a press conference. Journalist Aaron Rupar also pointed it out on X, saying, “The back of Trump's right hand is extremely swollen and discolored, as you can see in this clip.”

Some users even noticed his unusual actions, relating it to “Dementia” symptoms. A user shared the video of Trump pulling a punch action, and wrote, “Trump’s dementia is out of control.” This is not the first time that Trump is said to be dealing with dementia. Earlier in January, during a speech he gave in Davos, Switzerland, Trump kept mixing up Iceland and Greenland, fuelling speculation that the US President was suffering from some medical condition.

Last weekend, unverified reports claimed that Trump had been admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The claims surfaced after his brief public absence amid ongoing developments in the Middle East. However, the White House officials dismissed the reports, calling them “conspiracy theories”.

Trump On His Mental Health
When asked by a reporter about his response to the critics who say that his mental health should perhaps be examined, Trump replied that he has not heard of any. “Well, I haven’t heard of it. But if that’s the case, you’re gonna have to have more people like me, because our country was being ripped off, on trade, on mil … on everything, for many years until I came along. So if that’s the case, you’re gonna have to have more people,” The Daily Beast quoted Trump as saying.
While internet users claim that Trump is suffering from dementia, there is no public and independent medical diagnosis confirming the same.
