Israel-Hamas War: In the most recent development in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, an Israeli airstrike on a hospital in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians. More than 300 people were killed in an Israeli bombardment on a hospital in Gaza, according to Al-Jazeera TV, which cited the civil defence chief. Meanwhile, a health ministry official in Gaza claimed at least 500 people were killed and injured in the air strike. The precise number of fatalities is yet to be ascertained.
Gaza Under Israeli Airstrikes
On Tuesday, the Palestinian death toll from Israel's bombardment of Gaza climbed to about 3,000, health authorities said, news agency Reuters reported. Meanwhile, more than 1,400 Israelis have died since the Hamas carried out an unprecedented attack in Israel on October 7.

Israel Vows To Annihilate Islamist Hamas Group
After Hamas gunmen stormed the border and killed thousands of civilians during a rampage across southern Israeli communities on October 7, Israel has vowed to completely destroy the Islamist Hamas. Since then Israel has flattened parts of densely urbanised Gaza with air strikes, uprooted over half of its 2.3 million population from their homes, and imposed a total blockade on the enclave, cutting off access to food, fuel, and medical supplies.

UN On Israel's Evacuation Order For Gazans
The United Nations Human Rights Office stated that Israel's siege of Gaza and its evacuation order for residents of the northern Palestinian territory could amount to the forcible transfer of civilians, which is regarded as a crime against humanity on a global scale.
"We are concerned that this order, combined with the imposition of a complete siege of Gaza, may not be considered as lawful temporary evacuation and would therefore amount to a forcible transfer of civilians in breach of international law," said Ravina Shamdasani, spokesperson for the UN Human Rights Office.
