Israeli police on Sunday said that at least one person was killed while eleven others were injured in a suspected shooting attack at central bus station in the city of Beersheba in the country's south. The suspected assailant has been “neutralised” by security forces, The Times of Israel reported citing the police. Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance, and blood service, informed The Jerusalem Post that its paramedics were treating nine individuals with varying degrees of injuries at the scene. This is the second mass shooting incident in Israel in a week.

Additionally, MDA stated that one person in moderate-to-serious condition, four in moderate condition, and three with minor injuries were being transported to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
The eyewitnesses told The Times of Israel that the terrorist reportedly attacked civilians at three different locations within the bus station, alternating between knife attacks and gunfire.

Earlier, in another incident a suspected terror attack was reported in Israel’s Tel Aviv on October 1. A suspected shooting took place in Jaffa that resulted in multiple casualties, Israeli police said. Police confirmed that eight people were killed and seven others were injured in the attack, which occurred on Jerusalem Street near a light rail station.
At least two gunmen were involved in the attack. Both attackers were neutralized, according to Israeli authorities.
