Kanye West has sparked controversy again following an explicit post about Kamala Harris, which he quickly deleted and later apologised for. The incident took place on X during a rapid-fire series of posts on Saturday night. West, who had previously been banned from the platform in 2023 for anti-Semitic comments, returned to social media with a barrage of controversial messages.
The offensive post, which referred to Harris in a sexually derogatory manner, came after she lost to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. West wrote, "I used to want to f–k Kamala until she lost. I don’t f–k losers anymore." The comment was widely criticised for its disrespectful and inappropriate tone, especially given Harris’s prominent role as the first woman and first person of Black and South Asian descent to serve as US Vice President.

Kanye West’s Social Media Tirade
In the aftermath of the post, Kanye deleted the message and issued an apology, expressing regret for the inappropriate remark. He wrote, “Kamala seems like a very nice human. I just wanna say sorry to her kids.” The apology, however, did little to quell the backlash, with many pointing out the need for more accountability in his actions.

West followed up with another post, claiming, “The democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life.” This statement seemed to mock the situation while reaffirming his allegiance to former President Donald Trump, whom West has openly supported in the past.
The social media tirade came shortly after Kanye made headlines for announcing on Instagram that he was only following one account—Taylor Swift’s. The move stirred speculation about the long-running feud between the two, which dates back over 15 years.
