Valentina Gomez, a 25-year-old MAGA activist and aspiring congresswoman, drew sharp criticism this week after storming a peaceful Muslim rally at the Texas State Capitol. A viral video shows Gomez grabbing the microphone and launching into a hate-filled tirade, attacking Islam and calling for an end to what she termed the “Islamisation of America.”

“Islam has no place in Texas. Help me to Congress so we can end the Islamisation of America. I only fear God,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, following the incident. Gomez also allegedly stated: “Islam is the religion of rpe, incst, and p*dophilia where they bow down to a stupid rock and a false prophet. I will never let Sharia Law take over Texas. This is a Christian nation. There are 57 Muslim nations.”

Heated Confrontation Caught On Camera

The video, which has circulated widely on social media, captured moments of chaos as attendees of the rally responded with chants of “Allahu Akbar.” Shouts of “go back to where you came from” and verbal sparring marked a tense standoff between Gomez and the crowd. The incident has reignited debates about free speech, hate speech, and religious tolerance in American public life.

History Of Controversial Behaviour

Valentina Gomez is no stranger to controversy. Born on May 8, 1999, in Medellín, Colombia, she immigrated to the United States with her family in 2009. She initially rose to prominence as a real estate investor, but her far-right political activism and provocative online presence have since made her a well-known figure in MAGA circles.

Her social media platforms have been littered with inflammatory rhetoric, including homophobic slurs and calls to burn LGBTQ+ books, which she claims are “grooming and indoctrinating” children. Gomez’s posts have led to her being banned from Instagram for violating hate speech policies.

From Finance To Far-Right Politics

Before stepping into the political spotlight, Gomez held a role in the financial sector, including a position focused on strategic optimisation at Nestlé. However, her recent shift toward political extremism has overshadowed her earlier professional achievements. Gomez is known for controversial statements like “Don’t be weak and gay,” further solidifying her image as a firebrand on the far right.
