Middle East Crisis:  Intensifying its strikes against the Hamas militants hiding in Gaza, Israel launched another attack in the central strip, killing 42 Palestinians and injuring over 150. The air and artillery bombardment on the Nuseirat refugee camp has been continuing since Friday morning, a Palestinian security official said.

While the Gaza government media office condemned the strikes, terming them as the "deliberate targeting of civilians, including children and women," and called on the international community to pressure Israel to halt these actions against Gaza's civilians, the IDF described the strikes as an operation it conducted in Rafah and central Gaza to kill militants, dismantle militant infrastructure, and locate weapons.

1. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has said that they killed Jaafar Khader Faour, the commander overseeing Hezbollah's missile and rocket operations in its Nasser unit.

2. Faour was targeted and killed in a precision airstrike by an Israeli Air Force fighter jet in the village of Jouaiyya in southern Lebanon, news agency Xinhua reported on Sunday.

3. A suspected Hezbollah operative was captured as an Israeli naval unit conducted a "special operation" in Batroun, northern Lebanon, early Friday, according to security sources.

4. Israeli warplanes struck the Al-Qaa Jousieh border crossing between Lebanon and Syria for the second time this week, creating a massive crater, Lebanese sources report.

5. Three Palestinian children were injured when an Israeli drone struck a medical facility in Gaza City during a polio vaccination campaign, Palestinian medical sources reported.

6. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday warned that Israel and the US would face a "teeth-breaking response" for actions against Iran and resistance groups, according to his official statement.
