Political parties, including PML(N), PPP, PML-Q, MQM-P have come together to form a government in now-politically unstable Pakistan. Earlier, PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari said that he and other political leaders have decided to form the government together.“We will take Pakistan out of difficulty,” he said. Zardari said the decision on this was taken after realising the challenges faced by Pakistan.
MQM-Pakistan Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that no interest was greater than serving Pakistan for any party and he was willing to support Shehbaz Sharif to ‘strengthen democracy’.
Accepting the split verdict, Shehbaz Sharif thanked Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal for supporting his party. He also noted that with the support of several parties, he had managed to garner “almost 2/3 majority” in the Parliament.
