Travelers should prepare for continued delays through Wednesday. Major carriers have issued travel waivers, allowing passengers to rebook without penalties. Officials urge anyone flying this week to verify their flight status online before heading to the terminal.
Weather Outlook: From Bomb Cyclone To Alberta Clipper
The primary "bomb cyclone" has migrated toward Nova Scotia, Canada, but the Northeast isn't entirely clear of winter weather. A secondary system, known as an Alberta Clipper, is forecasted to move through the Great Lakes and the Northeast by midweek. While this system is expected to bring lighter snow totals, temperatures will remain near freezing, maintaining icy conditions across the region.

Blizzard warnings were extended through Monday evening for New York City and Boston, with the National Weather Service (NWS) recording wind gusts of up to 60 mph. This marks the most significant "nor’easter" to hit the city since 2017.
