In a shocking incident, a UK man has admitted to drugging and raping his wife for more than 20 years and sharing intimate photos of her without her knowledge. He has been charged with 60 offences against his wife between 2004 and 2025, including multiple counts of rape.
The man, who is in his sixties and cannot be named, is a resident of the Stockport area of Greater Manchester. He has admitted to drugging and raping his wife without her knowledge for more than two decades.
During the hearing, he became emotional as he repeatedly said "guilty" to dozens of charges, including multiple counts of rape, assault by penetration, and administering a substance with intent.
His wife was also present at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court and watched the proceedings from the public gallery, supported by members of her family, according to a BBC report.

Following the husband's guilty pleas, Greater Manchester Assistant Chief Constable Rick Jackson said the focus of the police remains on supporting the victim through what he described as a very complex investigation.
"Specialist support continues to be provided to the victim at the centre of this case. If you are concerned you or someone you know may be affected by drug-facilitated sexual abuse, please know that you do not need proof, certainty, or a clear memory to be taken seriously."
The court has decided that the accused will be sentenced for his crimes after the trial is completed. He had already admitted to sharing intimate photographs or videos of his wife without her consent for sexual gratification.
Meanwhile, 12 other men, aged between 28 and 74, have denied the allegations made against them in connection with the same woman.
Another man involved in the case had previously admitted to committing sexual offences against her. The 12 men who denied the allegations were identified as Philip Wild, Sean Peers, Jordan Wallace, Alan Keelan, Jonathan Kirk, Robert Stewart, Mohammed Sabir, Graham Brougham, Richard Townsend, Karl Lindsay, Daniel Rayner and David Graves.
Meanwhile, the trial is due to continue in the coming weeks.
