PM Modi Birthday: Several world leaders extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, praising his leadership and highlighting India’s strong ties with other countries. Among those who conveyed their wishes were Russian President Vladimir Putin and Australia’s High Commissioner to India Philip Green OAM.

World Leaders Greet PM Modi

Putin congratulated PM Modi on his 76th birthday and praised his contribution to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia. He also expressed gratitude to PM Modi for the warm welcome and hospitality during his recent visit to New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit.

The Russian Embassy in India shared Putin’s message on X. The message read: "You are rightly enjoying a deep respect from your compatriots and great authority on the global stage. It is impossible to overstate your personal contribution to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia."

Australia’s High Commissioner to India Philip Green OAM also extended his birthday wishes to Prime Minister Modi, recalling his recent visit to Australia and highlighting the close ties between the two countries. He wrote on X, “Happy Birthday, Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. Your recent visit to Australia showcased the extraordinary warmth and strength of the Australia-India relationship and the deep bonds between our people. आपके अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और आने वाले वर्ष की शुभकामनाए|”

US Embassy Wishes PM Modi

The US Embassy in India also extended birthday wishes to PM Modi on behalf of US President Donald Trump. In a post on X, the Embassy extended its wishes to PM Modi for good health and happiness in the year ahead. "On behalf of President Donald Trump, we wish Prime Minister @narendramodi a very Happy Birthday. Wishing you all the health and happiness in the coming year!" the message read.

Similarly, the embassies of Vietnam, the Netherlands and Nepal in India too extended birthday greetings to PM Modi, wishing him good health, happiness and continued success. In a post on X, the Embassy of Vietnam in India wrote, "Warmest birthday wishes to H.E. Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Wishing him good health, happiness and continued success, and looking forward to further strengthening the Vietnam-India Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership."

The Embassy of the Netherlands for India, Nepal and Bhutan wrote on X, "Wishing Honble Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday from the Kingdom of the Netherlands! The signing of our strategic partnership during PM Modi's recent visit to the Netherlands in May 2026 elevated our existing bilateral collaboration and has continued to grow and strengthen our ties."
