A Boston based TikTok content creator, Noa Donlan has gone viral for popularising the “office air" theory. Donlan’s latest video, showing how the air in the office is affecting her overall look, including her hair and complexion, is widely shared. She has claimed that while her skin feels fresh when she wakes up in the morning, it looks dull by the end of the day.

Donlan has shared a video on Instagram, showing how different she looks during two different times of the day. At 9 am, she captured herself looking fresh, with clean hair, skin and no puffiness in face. However, in the next clip filmed at 1 pm, she looks dull with oily hair, “dark eye bags” and “puffy face.” Sharing the video, she wrote in the caption: “There’s something in the OFFICE air. Follow if this is you at 1pm in the office.”

Woman Blames 'Office Air'

She blamed the “office air”, along with fluorescent lights, blue light from screens, and poor air circulation for deteriorating her look. “It’s already known that things like poor air circulation and sitting for long periods of time negatively impact our physical and mental health, but I started to feel like I could see it happening in real time when I looked in the office bathroom mirror,” she told People Magazine.
