Rising tensions between the United States and Iran are once again creating concern across the Middle East. Multiple reports claim that the US can launch a stronger military operation against Iran. Amid these developments, a shocking video from Iranian state television has gone viral online.

Iranian State TV Airs AK-47 Training

The video allegedly shows Iranian civilians being taught how to use an AK-47 rifle on live television. In the clip, aired on Iranian state TV, an anchor is seen holding the weapon while a man dressed in military uniform demonstrates how it should be handled and fired. The footage, reportedly shared by RT on X, quickly drew attention and sparked debate online.

In its report, the news channel mentioned that the purpose of the program was to prepare civilians for the possibility of a US ground invasion. The move represents a rare and significant move by Iranian authorities amid rising regional tensions. Moreover, the timing of the video has added to speculation that tensions between Washington and Tehran could continue to rise in the coming weeks.

Is Trump Considering Aggressive Strategy?

Meanwhile, several reports claim that US President Donald Trump is considering a more aggressive strategy against Iran. While some reports have referred to a possible “Operation Fury 2.0,” there has been no official confirmation by US authorities. The alleged plan is said to involve stronger military action aimed at stopping Iran from expanding its nuclear capabilities and securing control over key oil facilities.

A report by The New York Times further claimed that after returning from China, Trump discussed options for launching larger attacks on Ira. The report said the US and Israel are making their biggest military preparations since the April 7 ceasefire, and fresh attacks could be discussed as early as next week. However, the report also added that no final decision had been taken.

Earlier on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi remarked that Pakistan’s mediation efforts in the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the US have not failed but are facing serious challenges due to mistrust and inconsistent messaging from Washington. “The mediation process by Pakistan has not failed yet, but it is in a very difficult course, mostly because of the Americans’ behaviour and the mistrust that exists between us,” Araghchi said.
