Amid mounting international pressure following India’s aggressive diplomatic offensive linking Pakistan to cross-border terrorism, Islamabad has launched a global outreach campaign of its own. On Monday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office announced the formation of two high-level delegations tasked with rallying global support and advocating for renewed dialogue with India.
The primary delegation, comprising nine prominent political and diplomatic figures, will travel across multiple nations. The group includes federal minister Musadik Malik, former foreign ministers Hina Rabbani Khar and Khurram Dastgir Khan, former ministers Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari and Sherry Rehman, Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, and former foreign secretaries Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the delegation will engage with international bodies, foreign office holders, parliamentarians, and think tanks. Their primary objective is to present Pakistan’s viewpoint on the escalating tensions with India and to underline Islamabad’s commitment to dialogue and peace over conflict.

Second Delegation Heads To Moscow
A second team, led by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, will visit Moscow from June 2 to June 4. The delegation’s full composition remains undisclosed. The FO confirmed that Fatemi’s schedule includes high-level meetings with Russian officials, media engagements, and discussions with prominent think tanks. The mission echoes the broader aim of portraying Pakistan as a responsible actor in the face of Indian “aggression.”
“The delegations will highlight Pakistan’s responsible and restrained conduct, seeking peace with responsibility, in the face of India’s reckless and belligerent actions in violation of international law,” read an official FO statement.
India’s Counter-Offensive: Operation Sindoor Outreach
This Pakistani diplomatic campaign comes on the heels of India’s own global outreach, ‘Operation Sindoor Outreach.’ New Delhi has dispatched multi-party delegations to five strategic nations, beginning with Japan, to present evidence of Pakistan’s direct involvement in harbouring terrorism through groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
India’s delegations are armed with classified intelligence, including material gathered during Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure across the Line of Control. These teams are meeting with governments, international institutions, media, and diaspora communities to build pressure on Pakistan and isolate it diplomatically.
