Bhatt had reportedly come to the United Kingdom 3 years ago on a student visa, completed his course at the University of Leeds, and is currently in the UK on a post-study work visa.
Key Revelations During Altercation
The footage showed that Bhatt had admitted to sending sexual messages, despite knowing the individual was 14. Once he had discovered her age, he allegedly sent her "I'll go to jail", accompanied by crying laughing emojis.
Although he knew that his behaviour was unlawful, he had allegedly continued his conversation with the girl in which he reportedly said that she could "sneak" into see him to "make love" and then proceeded to send the child an explicit video of himself. In the conversation, he subsequently asked the girl if she would be able to borrow money for a hotel.

This has been the latest of a string of similar high-profile cases involving foreign students being targeted in online sting operations by vigilante groups in the UK.
Back in January this year, another similar video went viral on social media, capturing an Indian student being caught red-handed in Coventry in the United Kingdom on suspicion of attempting to digitally groom a minor just 3 months after landing in Britain: the student in question was named as Gureet Jeetesh.
