He receives a daily allowance of Rs 62,000 per month and a monthly constituency allowance of Rs 45,000. Combined, this totals Rs1.66 lakh per month.
Beyond salary, PM Modi enjoys several privileges as the head of the Indian government. He has a personal security detail from the Special Protection Group (SPG). His official transportation includes a bulletproof car and access to Air India One for foreign visits. The Prime Minister also resides at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi.
A notable aspect of his salary is a 30 per cent deduction made every month. These deductions are transferred to consolidated funds covering pensions, insurance, and other long-term benefits.
