Python Indonesia Woman Video:  In a shocking incident, the dead body of a middle-aged Indonesian woman was found inside the stomach of a python, which swallowed her whole, officials said Saturday. The woman, identified as 45-year-old Farida, went missing Thursday night, after which a search operation was launched by residents. According to AFP, her body was discovered inside a 16-foot-long reticulated python with her clothes intact.

The incident took place in Kalempang village in South Sulawesi province of Indonesia. Farida, a mother of four, went outside to run some errands in the evening but did not return. Her husband "found her belongings... which made him suspicious. The villagers then searched the area. They soon spotted a python with a large belly," said Suardi, the village headman, as quoted by AFP.

The villagers, who decided to cut the stomach of the python to retrieve the body, were shocked to see her head as soon as they made the incision. According to local officials, Farida was discovered with her clothes intact.

Though rare, such incidents have also been reported in the island country earlier. In 2023, some villagers killed a massive 24-foot python that was trying to strangle and swallow a farmer in Southeast Sulawesi's Tinanggea district.

In 2018, a 54-year-old woman was found dead inside a 23-foot python in Southeast Sulawesi's Muna town. The year before, a farmer in West Sulawesi went missing and was later found eaten alive by a 13-foot python at a palm oil plantation.
