Two passenger aircraft collided on Friday at the runway of Sochi airport in the south Russian Black Sea resort city, according to a local media report. There were no casualties and both aircraft suffered minor damages, Radio VestiFM reported.
One aircraft heading to the Siberian City of Tyumen, while moving to the runway, collided with another aircraft arriving from Norilsk, it said. Passengers, crew members and service personnel were not injured, it added.
Earlier this month, a plane with five people aboard, including two pilots, went missing in the deep forests of Siberia, Russia's civil aviation authority Rosaviatsia said. The Antonov An-2, a Soviet mass-produced single-engine biplane aircraft widely used for agricultural and forestry purposes, issued distressed signals over the forests of Yakutia in far northeastern Russia, TASS news agency reported, citing the local emergency ministry's office.

A search and rescue plane has been sent to locate theaircraft that was performing forestry aerial reconnaissance, Rosaviatsia said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app.
A helicopter has crashed near the village of Naryshkino in the Oryol Region's Uritsky District, Russian state media, TASS reported citing the area's Joint Dispatcher Service. "Everything happened near Naryshkino. All the firefighters rushed there," the service reported, adding that the settlement's population was not affected.
The service also clarified to TASS that it currently has no information regarding the helicopter’s ownership. Russian news outlet 112 on Telegram reported that a military helicopter, likely a Mi-8, crashed in the Oryol region, resulting in the crew's death. Initial findings point to a technical malfunction as the cause.
