Ahead of the high-stakes strategic discussions during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to Israel, a small yet striking moment caught attention. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out the matching shades of the pocket square of Prime Minister Modi and Sara Netanyahu's outfit. With a smile, the Indian Prime Minister remarked, "That’s saffron," adding a light-hearted touch to the state visit.

PM Modi arrived in Tel Aviv in a traditional Indian attire, wearing a cream-coloured kurta donned with white churidar. He layered the outfit with a grey, patterned half-jacket and along with a saffron pocket square. Sara Netanyahu complemented him in a vibrant saffron-hued pantsuit.
During their interaction, Sara Netanyahu praised India, calling it a "wonderful country," while Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu added, “He (PM Modi) is a wonderful leader," highlighting the strong ties between the two leaders.
PM Modi Israel Visit
In a statement ahead of his state visit to Israel, PM Modi described the visit as an opportunity to further strengthen the robust and multifaceted Strategic Partnership between India and Israel. "India and Israel share a robust and multifaceted Strategic Partnership that has witnessed remarkable growth and dynamism in recent years," news agency ANI quoted Modi as saying.

During his two-day visit to Israel, he is scheduled to meet President Isaac Herzog and will make history as the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Knesset.
