A serious political tweet took a wild turn when Grok’s interpretation bizarrely linked it to pop icon Taylor Swift, leaving netizens both baffled and amused.
The saga began when Priyanka Chaturvedi posted a scathing tweet on X, seemingly targeting a journalist without naming them. Her post read: “A third grade patrakaar who loves calling everyone a godi patrakaar but continues agenda for corporate clients is back to spreading gobar lies about me... hopefully the client will throw a few crumbs at you like you must have thrown at trolls like the jailbird. Grok AI’s Wild Interpretation
One curious user decided to pose the question to Grok AI — the conversational chatbot built into X. The answer, however, took everyone by surprise.
Grok replied: “It’s likely that ‘that person’ refers to Taylor Swift, a globally famous singer.”
It further elaborated on her fame, Instagram following, record sales, and recent tour, even name-dropping her boyfriend Travis Kelce and past feuds like the one with Kanye West. The response appeared to completely miss the political and journalistic context of Chaturvedi’s post.

The absurdity of the AI's reply went viral. Even Chaturvedi couldn’t help but laugh, responding to the screenshot with a string of laughing emojis.
