Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif walked into a closed-door meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after waiting nearly 40 minutes for his own scheduled bilateral with the Russian leader, RT News reported. As per the viral video, the incident unfolded on Thursday on the sidelines of an international forum in Turkmenistan marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s UN-recognised permanent neutrality. However, later, the video turned out to be "manipulated".
In the now deleted video, Sharif, accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, seen waiting in an adjacent lounge when the delay stretched longer than expected. According to the video shared by RT India, the Pakistani premier appeared visibly impatient before deciding to enter the venue where Putin and Erdogan were already in discussion. He remained inside for around ten minutes before leaving.

Fake video
The video has since been deleted by RT India and appears to be a deepfake, as there is no official confirmation from either the Russian or Pakistani side that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accidentally walked into a closed-door meeting between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The post may have been a misrepresentation of the events.
In a clarification posted on X (formerly Twitter), RT India said it had removed an earlier post suggesting that Sharif was waiting to meet Putin at the Peace and Trust Forum in Turkmenistan, acknowledging that the video may have misrepresented the events.
