US F-16 Fighter Jet Crash: Video Captures Moment Pilot Ejected Before Aircraft Plunged And Exploded In California

US F-16 Fighter Jet Crash Video: A US Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed near Trona Airport in San Bernardino County, California on Wednesday. The F-16C belonged to the ‘Thunderbirds’ squadron. Video of the incident showed the F-16C turning into a huge fireball.

The pilot managed to escape the life-threatening situation after ejecting via parachute. The pilot  being treated for minor injuries at a hospital, as per the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

The incident occurred at around 10:45 am (local time). The video clearly shows the aircraft falling towards the Earth and turning and exploding into a fireball.

“On December 3, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., a Thunderbird pilot ejected safely from an F-16C Fighting Falcon aircraft during a training mission over controlled airspace in California. The pilot is in stable condition and receiving follow-on care. The incident is under investigation and further information will be released from the 57th Wing Public Affairs Office,” the Thunderbirds issued a statement on social media.
