US-Israel-Iran War: The Kremlin on Thursday dismissed a media report that Russia is delivering drones to Iran amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. This comes after a report, published earlier in the day, claimed that Russia was close to completing a shipment of drones to Iran.
The Kremlin rejected the claims, stating that the 'media were printing a lot of lies and people should pay no attention to them'.
Kremlin Dismisses Reports That Russia Is Sending Drones To Iran
The report, published earlier in the day, claimed that Russia, a close ally of Iran, was close to completing a shipment of drones to Tehran. However, the Kremlin denied providing any military aid to its partner since the United States and Israel launched coordinated attacks on Iran on February 28.
"There are so many lies being spread by the media… Do not pay attention to them," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying.
The report, citing Western intelligence officials, claimed that Russia was in the process of delivering drones to Iran and would complete the shipments by the end of March.
Meanwhile, the European Union has alleged that Moscow provided intelligence support to Tehran to target and kill Americans in West Asia.
The EU's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, accused the Kremlin of providing intelligence support to Iran in the West Asia war to "kill Americans,” and called on the United States to increase pressure on Moscow.

Speaking to reporters at G7 meeting outside Paris, Kallas said, "We see that Russia is helping Iran with intelligence to target Americans, to kill Americans, and Russia is also supporting Iran now with the drones so that they can attack neighbouring countries and also US military bases."
"These wars are very much interlinked… If America wants the war in the Middle East to stop, Iran to stop attacking them, they should also put pressure on Russia so that they are not able to help them in this," she added.
Earlier this month, The Washington Post reported that Russia had passed sensitive intelligence to Tehran, including the locations of US warships and aircraft in the region.
