US-Israel-Iran War: Amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, the White House on Monday said that some of the previous Iranian leaders are 'no longer on planet Earth' because they 'lied' to the United States during negotiations.
'No Longer On Planet Earth Because They Lied To US': White House
Speaking to reporters on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, "Some of the previous leaders are now no longer on planet Earth because they lied to the United States and they strung us along in negotiations, and that was unacceptable to the president, which is why many of the previous leaders were killed".
She further stated that the latest negotiations between Tehran and Washington are 'another historic opportunity' for Iran to do the 'right thing'.
'Talks Are Continuing And Going Well': Leavitt
Her remarks came hours after Iran said it had received US peace proposals but called them 'unrealistic, illogical and excessive'.
She added that what Tehran says publicly differs from what it tells the US officials in private, noting that Iran had privately agreed to some of Washington's points to end the ongoing conflict.
"We will ensure that they are being held accountable to their word," Leavitt said, adding, "And if not, the President has laid out the military consequences that the Iranian regime will see if they don’t hold true to the words that we are hearing privately behind the scenes."
"Despite all of the public posturing you hear from the regime and false reporting, talks are continuing and going well," the White House Press Secretary added.

Iran Denies Reports Of Peace Talks
Iran, however, has denied reports of peace talks and said that negotiations are not progressing, even as the White House Press Secretary stated that Iran is 'increasingly eager' to negotiate and has agreed to 'some of the points' that the US has put forward to end the ongoing conflict.
