A picture of a woman portraying as a US Army soldier had gone viral in recent weeks. She was seen walking with US President Donald Trump, meeting world leaders, and sharing patriotic posts, attracting over a million followers on social media. However, her account has now been removed from Instagram as he doesn't exist.
Viral US Army 'Soldier' Was AI
The woman named Jessica Foster was portrayed as a blonde US Army soldier living an extraordinary life. In the photos posted online, she was seen on warships, giving speeches, and meeting figures like Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. Some of her photos received more than 30,000 likes with netizens flooding the comment section to appreciate her. But it is now revealed that those images and videos were likely created using artificial intelligence, and the account has now been taken down.
No Soldier Named Jessica Foster
According to the Washington Post report, the US Army has confirmed there is no record of anyone by that name serving in the military. The account with the name "Jessica Foster" had gained more than a million followers in just four months. Many of her followers praised her looks and “America First” message. The account was also reportedly linked to an OnlyFans page before it was removed for not being verified.
Jessica Foster's case is not unique as several AI-generated accounts of female soldiers and police officers supporting political messages have also appeared on TikTok, Instagram, and X. Earlier, Former Illinois Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger said, "Jessica Foster is clearly not a soldier in the US Army. Jessica Foster is AI. Jessica Foster has a million followers. And if you look at the comments and what some of the people are saying, my goodness, the people that fall for AI, the MAGAs, the old men, come on. This is insane."
