WhatsApp Down: Thousands of WhatsApp users around the globe are reporting issues with the application. Several took to social media to register their anger as they were unable to send or receive messages. Many users took to social media to check if others were facing similar problems. According to Down Detector, the issues began around 3:10 PM (local time), affecting users in both the UK and the US.

Both incoming and outgoing messages have been disrupted. As of now, over 21,000 issues have been reported in the UK alone on Down Detector. Of those reporting problems, 59 per cent are struggling to send messages, while 22 per cent are facing server connection issues.
