Who Is Usha Vance
Usha Vance, a litigator at a national firm, is the daughter of Indian immigrants. She holds a bachelor's degree in History from Yale University and a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge. Her legal career includes clerking for Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh.

Raised in a suburb of San Diego, California, Usha focussed on education and hard work from an early age. At Yale, she served as Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and Executive Development Editor of The Yale Law Journal. She continued her studies at Cambridge as a Gates fellow, engaging with left-wing and liberal groups, and was a registered Democrat in 2014.
Usha and JD Vance met at Yale Law School and married in Kentucky in 2014. The couple has three children. Usha has assisted JD in organising his thoughts on social decline in rural white America, which inspired his best-selling memoir, "Hillbilly Elegy."
In an interview with Fox & Friends, Usha Vance discussed her support for her husband's political ambitions, highlighting his hard work and creativity. She shared that her religious upbringing and her parents' Hindu faith played a crucial role in her life, and she saw similar values in JD Vance.
