2024 Renault Duster: French automaker Renault has finally revealed the anticipated Duster SUV under its subsidiary brand Dacia. The new Duster has been unveiled in Portugal today for all global markets including India. The new 2024 Duster is the third-generation model and the manufacturer is claiming that it is the most powerful iteration of the of the popular midsize SUV so far. The Renault Duster was launched in India in 2012 for the first time and was on sale in India for over a decade before it was discontinued in early 2023 due to decreasing demand. It is expected that the new Duster will be launched in India by 2025.

2024 Renault Duster - Exterior Design 

The new 2024 Renault Duster looks more tough and rugged than its predecessor with sharper lines throughout its exterior. It gets new design elements like a new grille, new bumper, redesigned air intakes, Y-shaped LED headlight unit and LED DRLs. If you look at the 2024 Renault Duster from the side you’ll see that it gets new black alloy-wheels, squared-off wheel arches and roof rails like the Bigster concept. Moving to the back, the SUV features Y-shaped LED tail lights along with the Dacia and Duster badging displayed on the tailgate.

2024 Renault Duster - Interior 

The interior of the 2024 Renault Duster has been completely revamped to incorporate new and advanced features such as a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, bronze accents on the AC vents, USB and wireless charging ports among others. Additionally, the interior of the new Duster gets a dual-tone theme.

2024 Renault Duster - Powertrain 

The new-gen Renault Duster is expected to be launched with three engine options - 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, 1.2-litre petrol hybrid engine and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. The engines produce a power output of 120 bhp, 140 bhp and 170 bhp respectively. The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine is the most robust engine ever equipped with the Duster SUV. This engine has also been tuned to run on ethanol-blended fuel. It is expected that Renault will consider bringing the strong-hybrid and mild-hybrid engine options to India to keep with its great fuel-efficiency figures which were earlier offered by a diesel engine.
