As reported earlier, Renault is gearing up to launch the new-gen Duster SUV on November 29. However, details of Renault's new-gen Duster SUV have been leaked ahead of its official launch in Portugal. The new-gen Duster SUV has been manufactured by Dacia which is a subsidiary of Renault. The manufacturer claims that the third-gen Duster is the most powerful iteration of the SUV till now.

New Duster SUV - Exterior 

In terms of design modifications, the new Duster SUV will get a high bonnet line, unique Y-shaped headlamps, a new slimmer grille, a revamped bumper, sloping rear window and new vertical air intakes on both sides. The new Duster looks a lot like the Dacia Bigster as it features squared-off wheel arches, roof rails and a spoiler. It also gets spoke alloy wheels and V-shaped tail lights. 

New Duster SUV - Interior 

The interior of the new Duster SUV will also undergo significant revamping as it will feature new upholstery, a redesigned dashboard, a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, a wireless charger, a sunroof, automatic climate control and wireless connectivity among other features.

New Duster SUV - Powertrain 

The new Duster is built on a new CMF-B platform which is also used by Renault to manufacture its EVs as well. However, this new Duster will be available in its ICE form with three engine options - a 1.0-litre turbo petrol, a 1.3-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.2-litre petrol hybrid. All three engines are tuned to churn power outputs of 120 bhp, 170 bhp and 140 bhp respectively. The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine in the top-spec variants of the new Duster will also be flex-fuel compliant. These engines can be paired to either a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, or a CVT unit.
