India Bike Week 2023: Triumph Motorcycles launched the Stealth Edition earlier today and has now unveiled the 2024 Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Triumph has showcased these adventure tourers for the first time in the country at the ongoing India Bike Week 2023. Although the global reveal of both the ADVs took place earlier this year, the announcement of the 2024 Tiger 900 lineup for India was made in late October. Prices for the Tiger 900 Range haven’t been announced yet but its deliveries are set to commence in March 2024.
2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro - Features
The updates Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro have received numerous enhancements to the engine, mechanical components and overall appearance of the motorcycles. 2024 Tiger range will replace its predecessors as it now gets new features like split LED headlamp with a transparent visor on top and a secondary fender below. Additionally, the motorcycles boast an upswept exhaust, an elongated single seat and streamlined LED tail lights. It also gets notable features like a new 7-inch TFT screen from the Tiger 1200 with Bluetooth connectivity as a standard feature.
2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro - Engine Specifications
The Triumph Tiger Range is powered by the upgraded 888 cc in-line three-cylinder engine that churns a power output of 107 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque, representing an increase of 12 bhp in peak power and 3 Nm in peak torque. Additionally, the seat height has been increased 10 mm, ranging between 820-840 mm on the GT and 860-880 mm on the Rally Pro. While the Tiger 900 GT is more focussed towards on-road performance, the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is designed for more challenging off-road adventures.
2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro - Expected Prices
Triumph Motorcycles has not yet confirmed the prices for the new Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro. However, it is anticipated that it will be priced within the range of Rs 13.95 lakh to Rs 14.15 lakh for the Tiger 900 GT, while the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is expected to be priced between Rs 15.95 lakh and Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). These models are set to compete against rivals like the Ducati DesertX, Multistrada V2, Honda Africa Twin and BMW F 850 GS.
