Skoda Octavia RS 2025 Launch Date: Skoda Auto is set to launch its much-awaited Octavia RS in India today (October 17). The upcoming Octavia RS will make a comeback in its fourth-generation guise and join the Slavia in Skoda India's sedan line-up. Skoda officially commenced bookings for the Octavia RS sporty sedan on October 6 through its website, and within 4 days of the commencement, all 100 units of the sedan were sold out. The booking amount was set at Rs 2.50 lakh. With Skoda announcing the price soon, here's what you need to know:

Skoda Octavia RS: Engine, Performance

Overseas, the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia RS gets a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 261bhp and 370Nm of peak torque, making it more powerful than the previous-generation Octavia RS, which featured a 241bhp turbo-petrol engine. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. 0-100km/h comes up in a claimed 6.4 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250km/h. The India-spec version is expected to come standard with a sports exhaust system.

Skoda Octavia RS: Interior Features

Inside, the India-spec Octavia RS will get an all-black interior theme, leatherette seats, ambient lighting, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 3-zone climate control, an 11-speaker Canton premium audio system, wireless charging, and powered and heated front seats. Holding 5 stars from Euro NCAP, the sporty sedan will offer 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, ESC, brake assist, and Level 2 ADAS.

Skoda Octavia RS: Exterior Features

Outside, the Octavia RS will boast LED Matrix headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, a black spoiler, and five exterior paint options (Mamba Green, Magic Black, Candy White, Race Blue, and Velvet Red).
