Kawasaki Z900 New Model: With the festive season approaching, Kawasaki has launched the 2026 iteration of the middleweight Z900 naked bike in India. Priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2026 Kawasaki Z900 gets two new colour schemes – Metallic Matte Graphene steel Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black and Candy Lime Green/Metallic Carbon Grey. Except for this revision, the 2026 model carries over unchanged from the 2025 model.
The launch of the 2026 Kawasaki Z900 appears to be a strategic move, capitalising on the pent-up festive demand and steeper discounts. Having said that, the latest version is Rs 19,000 less expensive than the 2025 Z900, which costs Rs 10.18 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki launched the 2025 Z900 in June 2025 at Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom), offering new styling, upgraded chassis components, and additional electronic aids. However, with the implementation of GST 2.0, Kawasaki increased the price of the 2025 model by Rs 66,000.

Kawasaki Z900: Engine, Electronics
The 2026 iteration uses the same 948cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine that develops 123bhp and 97.4Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. Electronic aids also include cruise control, wheelie control, ride-by-wire, traction control, dual-channel ABS, two power modes, and four ride modes. The Z900 also continues to feature a 5.0-inch TFT display with the switchgear derived from the Ninja 1100SX.
