Upcoming SUVs In India:  The Tata Sierra has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sierra has increased the heat in its respective segment, and the competition is set to get more brutal as the segment is set to witness the launch of some of the most-awaited and popular nameplates. Let’s take a look at 3 upcoming SUVs which are all set to challenge the Tata Sierra in 2026.

2026 Renault Duster

The 2026 Renault Duster is all set to be launched on January 26, 2026, in India. The upcoming Renault Duster 2026 is expected to be heavily loaded in terms of safety and features. A test mule spotted earlier during testing hints at the SUV getting a three-screen setup with a 10.1-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, a 7-inch display for the co-passenger, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

2026 Kia Seltos

The next-generation Kia Seltos is all set to be launched in Korea on December 9, 2025; However, it will be launched in India in 2026. The New generation of the Kia Seltos will feature a similar front design to its siblings, such as the EV9 and Syros. It is expected to include major changes inside the cabin, such as a new, larger touchscreen-based infotainment system with a fully digital instrument cluster. It is also expected to get new ambient lighting, a connected car feature, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, and a fully automatic climate control system.

Nissan Tekton

Nissan is also planning on strengthening its position in the Indian market. In an exclusive interaction with Jagran Hitech, Saurabh Vats, MD of Nissan India, shared that the brand may soon launch a new C-segment SUV called ‘the Tekton’, along with a 7-seater MPV and SUV. The Tekton by Nissan shares its CMF-B platform with the upcoming Renault Duster. The brand has not yet revealed any details regarding the interior of the Nissan Tekton.
