2026 Tata Punch Facelift:  The Tata Punch was introduced in 2021, and it has remained one of the most popular micro SUVs in the country ever since. In fact, the Tata Punch was last year’s best-selling model, and it is expected to receive a facelift upgrade soon. The test mule of the upcoming 2026 Tata Punch facelift has been spotted testing on the roads several times, and recently, it was spied yet again. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain-related details of the upcoming 2026 Tata Punch.

2026 Tata Punch: Design

The front fascia of the upcoming 2026 Punch facelift features a new grille with rectangular slats. It also gets a new lighting setup, inspired by the electric iteration of the SUV. The LED DRLs are mounted on top with horizontally placed headlamps in a triangular housing. The side profile remains largely unchanged, and the 2026 Punch is expected to feature a new set of alloy wheels. The 2026 Punch will likely retain squared wheel arches, C-Pillar-mounted rear door handles, thick body cladding, a sharp roofline, blacked-out pillars, and a shark fin antenna, as offered with the outgoing model. On the rear, the 2026 Tata Punch is expected to get a redesigned bumper and a new set of taillights with a connected light bar.

2026 Tata Punch: Features

The recent spy shots hint at the 2026 Tata Punch getting a two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated brand logo inside the cabin, which is similar to the steering we have seen in the Nexon, Tata Curvv, and recently launched Altroz Facelift. The Punch facelift is also anticipated to come equipped with features such as front ventilated seats, a central console with cup holders, a free-standing infotainment system, and more.

2026 Tata Punch: Safety

The upcoming 2026 Tata Punch is expected to feature a new set of safety features as well. While the outgoing model of the Punch offers 2 airbags as standard, the upcoming 2026 Tata Punch facelift is expected to be available with 6 airbags as standard. It is also expected to offer premium safety features such as a blind spot monitor, which is expected to be limited to the top-spec trims of the SUV.

2026 Tata Punch: Powertrain

While the Tata Punch facelift is expected to receive major changes in terms of features and design, it will remain unchanged under the hood. The powertrain options offered with the Punch facelift will be carried over from the current outgoing model. The current model of the SUV is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, along with an option of CNG. The 1.2-litre engine offered with the Punch facelift is available with options of either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT gearbox, and it can generate a peak power output of 87.8 hp.
