German automobile giant Audi has announced that it has witnessed a 88 per cent growth in the first nine months of 2023 in India. Audi’s SUV line-up has seen a growth of 187 per cent, whereas, the e-tron range has grown by 42 per cent. Audi has sold a total of 5,530 units in 2023 so far in India. 

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India on this occasion said, “Audi India retailed 5,530 units witnessing a strong 88% growth; our SUVs have witnessed a growth of 187%. With the upcoming festive season, we are expecting this growth to continue on the back of sustained demand for our best-sellers including the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Q5, Audi Q7 and Audi Q8."

Audi’s Vehicle Line-Up In India 

The evident growth in the demand of Audi cars has been facilitated by the launch of the new models like the Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback. Other Audi cars sold sold in India comprise of Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi A8 L, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT.

Audi Approved: plus 

Audi also owns a pre-owned car business in India known as the Audi Approved: plus, that also witnessed a growth of 63 per cent in the first nine months of 2023. The automaker plans to increase the Audi Approved: plus outlets from 25 outlets to 27 outlets by the end of this year.

'Charge my Audi' Initiative 

To further enhance the EV presence in the country, Audi India has officially announced the introduction of 'Charge my Audi' on the 'myAudiConnect' app. This unique initiative provides Audi e-tron owners access to multiple EV charging partners through a single app. Currently, over 1000 charging points are accessible via 'Charge my Audi,' with plans to expand this network in the coming months.
