National Lok Adalat 2023: The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is organising the National Lok Adalat 2023 under the supervision of the National Legal Services Authority (NLSA). The National Lok Adalat 2023 is scheduled to happen on October 8 from 10 am to 4 pm at Delhi High Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Patiala House Court, Tis Hazari Court, Karkardooma Court, Dwarka and Saket Courts. If you have a pending challan, then you can appear before the magistrate during the National Lok Adalat on October 8 and can get the challan waived off or reduced.
The National Lok Adalat 2023 will settle a total of 1,70,000 challan cases on October 8. However, only compoundable challans which were pending till June 30, 2023, will be settled in the National Lok Adalat 2023. People looking to waive off their challan can download their challan slips from the official website of Delhi Traffic Police (traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat). This link has been activated today and will stay active until the pre-decided number of challans (1,000 for every bench) are downloaded or till 4 pm today.
Follow these steps to download your challan slips for the National Lok Adalat 2023.
- Go to the Lok Adalat website - https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat.
- Enter your vehicle number.
- Enter the last 5 characters of either your chassis number or engine number.
- Click on the 'Notice Details’ then click on the ‘Challan Details’ button.
- All the compoundable challans issued before June 30, 2023, will be visible and available for printing.
- Click on the ‘Print Notice’ tab to proceed with court selection.
- A pop-up window will appear with options for the court selection.
- Select your specific court from the list of 7 courts for different areas in Delhi.
- After court selection, pick a session, there are two sessions available, one in the morning and one in the afternoon that begin at 10AM and 2PM respectively.
- If your selected court is available, the ‘Submit’ button will be active.
- If not, you'll see a pop-up showing that the court is occupied and you should choose another court.
- After selecting the court, click on the print button.
- The system will automatically redirect and print the challan slip.
- If you need to reprint a challan slip that you've already processed, enter the vehicle number with the chassis or engine number. A ‘Reprint’ button will be visible, click on that to print the notice or challan again.
