Car Care Tips: When driving, this happens a lot of times that a random indicator will start blinking or will be switched on and will leave you questioning what is happening or what is wrong? It can be frustrating if you're unsure about its meaning. Fortunately, most dashboard warning lights are easy to understand. Here are some of the most common dashboard warning indicators that you should be aware of.

Oil Warning Indicator - The oil warning light indicates low engine oil pressure, possibly due to dirty oil, low oil level or oil leaking. In this case, stop at a safe spot and turn off the engine, check for oil leak signs or check the oil level.

Door Opening Indicator - This warning light indicates open or improperly closed doors. To turn it off, ensure all doors are closed properly.

Seatbelt Warning Indicator - The seatbelt warning light signals an unfastened seatbelt in the front row seats. Fastening the seatbelt will stop that but if the light remains on despite correctly fastening seatbelts, you should get it checked.

ABS Warning Indicator - The ABS warning light is switched on when starting your car for system check. If it remains on, it may indicate issues with ABS, low fluid levels, sensor problems, or deactivated ABS.

Low Fuel Tank Indicator - This indicator only has one purpose and that is to signal low fuel levels. When you see this indicator turned, refuel at the nearest gas station immediately.

Low Beam and High Beam Indicator - A regular vehicle has two beam indicators: one for low beam and one for high beam. The low beam indicator displays when low beam lights are active, with rays showing light directed toward the road. On the other hand, the high beam indicator appears when high beam lights are in use, with rays indicating forward-facing light.
