Bentley First EV Production: Bentley Motors has announced plans to extend the availability of the combustion-engine and plug-in hybrid models through at least 2035, as part of its 'Beyond100+' business strategy. As a result, cars like the Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur will continue to be sold with their hybrid powertrains, reflecting the company's commitment to meeting customer demand for performance models worldwide. This suggests that the brand's previous target of being all-electric by 2035 could be extended.
Moreover, Bentley also revealed at a press conference held at its headquarters in Crewe that the new limited-run, non-hybrid performance model will be introduced by the end of 2025, with similarly-engined cars expected to follow. Earlier this year, the brand unveiled the new iteration of the Bentayga Speed. It is essentially the performance-oriented version of the luxurious Bentayga SUV, featuring a more powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine rated at 641bhp and 850Nm.

Bentley First EV Global Debut in 2026: What We Know
As for its first fully electric vehicle – marketed as the world's first true 'Luxury Urban SUV', Bentley says that its first EV – designed, developed, and produced in Crewe – is on track to make its global debut in late 2026, with deliveries scheduled to commence in 2027.
Measuring less than 5,000mm in length, the yet-to-be-named EV will be positioned below the Bentayga in terms of size. It is said to offer industry-leading technology, including the capability to add 100 miles (161km) of range in under 7 minutes. And according to Bentley, pre-series production of the first Bentayga EV is underway at the company's Crewe plant in the UK.
