BMW F 450 GS Launch: BMW Motorrad's much-awaited F 450 GS adventure bike will not make its official India debut at the 12th edition of IBW (India Bike Week) 2025, which has now been relocated to Panchgani, Maharashtra. That said, the dates remain December 19 and 20. As opposed to its planned debut, the adventure bike is expected to be launched by the end January 2026 or early February 2026, with deliveries to commence shortly after that.
BMW F 450 GS: Expected Price
With launch imminent, the production of the F 450 GS, developed under TVS-BMW collaboration, is already underway at TVS' Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. Unveiled in a production-spec form at EICMA 2025, the BMW F 450 GS will assume the role of the entry-level model in BMW's GS portfolio, ushering in a fresh era for the illustrious GS heritage. Upon launch, the bike is likely to be priced aggressively (Rs 4.50 lakh–Rs 4.90 lakh), making it an attractive offer during its introductory phase. It will rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Benelli TRK 502.

BMW F 450 GS: Engine, Hardware
The F 450 GS features a 420cc parallel-twin engine that is tuned to produce 47bhp at 8,750rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. For quick upshifts and downshifts, the bike gets a Shift Assistant Pro quickshifter, which is not available on the base variant. BMW's Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), which does away with the need to manually operate a clutch lever while on the fly, is standard on the GS Trophy variant. Premium hardware components include KYB upside-down front forks, a Brembo front calliper, and a cast aluminium double-sided swingarm attached to a KYB central spring strut.
