BMW X5 M Sport Pro Launch: BMW India has updated the X5 SUV with cosmetic tweaks and additional features. The update comes along with a uniform price hike of Rs 2.5 lakh across the variants. Speaking of, the 2025 BMW X5 comes in four trim levels: xDrive40i, xDrive40i M Sport Pro, xDrive30d, and xDrive30d M Sport Pro, with prices ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom). The top-spec M Sport Pro variant, replacing the erstwhile M Sport variant, is offered with a diesel powertrain setup.

2025 BMW X5: Engine

The 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, diesel engine makes 286bhp and 650Nm, while the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol unit is tuned to produce 381bhp and 520Nm. Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a mild-hybrid system. The latter adds 12bhp and 200Nm. In the petrol version, 0-100km/h takes 5.4 seconds, while the diesel version can do in 6.1 seconds.

2025 BMW X5: Better Off-Road Tech

The updated SUV comes standard with an off-road package, dubbed the xOffroad, enabling users to access four ride modes (Sand, Rock, Gravel, Snow) through a rocker switch on the centre console.

2025 BMW X5: New Features

In terms of features, BMW has added an adaptive air suspension system to the SUV. Earlier offered only with the higher-spec variant, the feature is now standard across all variants. Other bits, including twin displays, auto climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system, remain the same.

As against the standard X5, the M Sport Pro can be had in two interior schemes: Tartufo/Black and White/Black.

2025 BMW X5: Design Updates

The standard SUV now features reworked LED headlamps and a revised front grille at the front. 21-inch alloy wheels are standard, while the M Sport Pro package adds blacked-out roof rails, kidney grille, and exhaust pipes. There is an M Sport aero pack, which includes a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. Other M-specific bits include an M Sport differential and the M Sport Brakes with red callipers.
