SUVs have become a popular choice of vehicle, not just in India but across the globe. SUVs are preferred more due to their commanding stance and strong road presence when compared to other types of vehicles such as sedans or hatchbacks. In the contemporary world, SUVs have been categorised into different types - Off-Road SUV, Full-Size SUV, Compact SUV and Micro SUV. More and more people in India are looking for smaller-sized cars these days. In the past few years, these compact SUVs have gained immense popularity. However, there’s always a confusion whether to buy full-size SUVs or compact SUVs. Therefore, let’s have a look at the key differences between these two types of vehicles.

People often feel uncertain when deciding whether to buy a compact SUV or a full-size SUV. These vehicles look appealing but they may offer fewer features compared to full-sized SUVs. However, when it comes to comfort, compact SUVs tend to be the best choice for customers. Compact SUVs have lesser seat configuration and are smaller in size than traditional SUVs. They are designed for versatile driving, making them suitable for any location. Unlike larger SUVs that may struggle on narrow streets or roads, compact SUVs are able to get through such situations without any issue.
Talking about power and performance, all sorts of SUVs are primarily designed for off-roading or driving on rough roads. However, full-size SUVs generally have more powerful engines compared to compact SUVs. However, it's important to note that in many cases, compact SUVs can still compete effectively with full-sized SUVs.
