The Baleno is a premium hatchback which is priced between Rs 6.7 lakhs (Ex-showroom) to Rs 9.92 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The Baleno draws its power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which has a claimed ARAI mileage of 22.35 km/l with a 5-speed manual transmission and 22.94 km/l with the automatic transmission. The CNG variant of the hatchback has a claimed mileage of 30.61 km/kg.

Tata Tiago
If you are looking for a fuel-efficient car and safety is a priority, then the Tata Tiago hatchback can be one of the best options for you. The Tiago is priced between Rs 5 lakhs (Ex-showroom) to Rs 7.9 lakhs (Ex-showroom), and it draws its power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which has an ARAI claimed mileage of up to 20.09 km/l with the manual transmission and 19 km/l for the automatic transmission. Whereas the CNG model of the hatchback has an ARAI mileage of 28.06 km/kg.
Nissan Magnite
