Delhi Vehicle Entry Restrictions:  Delhi is one of the world’s most polluted cities, and to address this issue, the government has now announced a big change. Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, today announced that only BS6, CNG, and Electric commercial vehicles will be allowed entry in the national capital from November 1, 2025.

Automatic Cameras To Detect Vehicle Life

CM Rekha Gupta also announced the installation of ANPR- automatic number plate registration and recognition system-based cameras on all entry points in Delhi. Sharing further details on how these cameras will work, she told the media that these cameras will identify end-of-life vehicles and share their information with the ground staff so that these vehicles can be traced and stopped. She also shared that similar cameras will be installed at the petrol pumps too.
