Elon Musk Tesla News: Tesla has rolled out its first-ever pop-up experience in India to showcase the Model Y electric SUV to people visiting Ambience Mall in Gurugram. According to Tesla, the pop-up showcase, organised on November 7, drew thousands of visitors keen to witness the brand's cutting-edge electric vehicle technology. The first public display featuring Tesla's first electric model for India not only boosted visibility but also provided Indian consumers with a hands-on experience with the electric vehicle.
Ambience Mall, Gurugram: Why Tesla Chose this Venue?
As per Tesla, Gurugram's Ambience Mall was the 'ideal destination' to introduce the brand's electric vehicle technology, owing to its world-class infrastructure, heavy consumer traffic, and reputation as a premium retail outlet. While Ambience Mall holds a legacy of hosting showcases or launches for several premium international brands, Tesla's first pop-up in India reinforces the Mall's positioning as a destination where global innovation and consumer experience come together.

Tesla Model Y: Price, Range
Tesla India currently offers its Model Y in two battery configurations: 60kWh and 84.2kWh. The former delivers a WLTP-claimed range of 500km, while the latter can now run up to 661km on a single charge (also WLTP). The car can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 201km/h. The starting price of the Model Y is Rs 59.89 lakh, while the top-spec model can be had at Rs 67.89 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
