FASTag Annual Pass Update: The FASTag annual pass is now applicable at the Bijwasan Toll Plaza on the Dwarka Expressway, according to a notification issued by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The initiative aims to ensure seamless, cashless travel through toll plazas without the need to pay daily at a toll plaza, the notification read.

Dwarka Expressway Toll Begins: New Rates

NHAI commenced toll collection at the Bijwasan toll plaza on Dwarka Expressway on November 9. Travellers using this toll plaza are required to pay Rs 220 for a one-way trip and Rs 330 for a return journey. Having said that, the charges apply to individuals without a local monthly pass or a FASTag annual pass. And to avoid inconvenience to highway users, NHAI announced that the three lanes on each side of the Bijwasan plaza will be designated for local traffic for the next three days. During the 3 days, locals living within a 20 km radius are advised to obtain a special local monthly pass, available at Rs 340, according to NHAI.

FASTag Annual Pass: What is it?

Launched on August 15 by NHAI, the FASTag Annual Pass is an electronic tolling option for only non-commercial private vehicles, such as jeeps, cars, and vans. Priced at Rs 3,000, the annual pass replaces frequent top-ups with a single prepaid plan, ensuring seamless travel for a year or 200 trips, whichever is earlier.
