Spartan 2.0 - Powertrain
Talking about the powertrain, the Spartan 2.0 is equipped with a single motor that produces 176 bhp and 1,075 Nm of torque. Instead of a conventional gearbox, the power is transmitted through a transfer case, allowing users to manually select between two- or four-wheel drive, along with high and low ranges. The vehicle is equipped with manually locking differentials both at the front and rear, as well as hill descent control for better off-road capabilities.
Spartan 2.0 - Battery & Driving Range
The Spartan 2.0 is fitted with a 57.4 kWh battery pack that provides a range of approximately 240 km. The Spartan 2.0 can be charged from 20-80 per cent in approximately thirty minutes. The Spartan 2.0 also supports bi-directional charging, enabling it to provide 230 volts for running power tools and other equipment.
Spartan 2.0 - Interior & Features
The interior of the Spartan 2.0 remains largely unchanged as it closely resembles the Gurkha available in India. The cabin is well-equipped with features such as adjustable cloth-upholstered seats, a two-way adjustable steering wheel, electric windows, air conditioning, a digital instrument display and an infotainment touchscreen. Similar to the Jimny 3-door, the Spartan 2.0 is marketed as a commercial vehicle in European markets and the UK. Therefore, it does not include rear seats, making it a strictly two-seat SUV.
