Ola S1X 4kWh: Ola Electric, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India launched its latest S1 series in 2023. Now, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced a new version of its most affordable, the S1 X which now gets a bigger 4kWh battery pack. The Ola S1 X 4kWh has been launched at a price tag of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Ola has confirmed that deliveries for the new S1 X 4 kWh variant will commence in April, with bookings now being open.

The Ola S1X 4kWh closely resembles other variants in terms of styling, features, and dimensions, with the main distinction being in weight. The 4kWh model weighs 112 kg, making it 4 kg heavier than the S1 X equipped with the 3 kWh battery. The charging time for a full charge on the 4 kWh model is reported to be 6 hours and 30 minutes. The claimed top speed is the same with 90 km/h, aligning with the S1 Air and other S1 X variants. The stated IDC range for this variant is 190 km which is only 5 km less than the claimed range of 195 km for the S1 Pro Gen 2.

In addition to this launch, Ola Electric's founder and Managing Director, Bhavish Aggarwal, disclosed plans for establishing 600 service centres by April 2024. Furthermore, the charging network is set to expand to 10,000 fast-charging stations in the next quarter, a substantial increase from the current 1,000 stations. Aggarwal also announced a noteworthy 8-year/80,000km battery warranty, included at no extra cost with every new S1 e-scooter purchase. Customers have the option to extend the warranty, with an additional cost of Rs 4,999 for an extension up to 1 lakh kilometres and Rs 13,999 for an extension up to 1.25 lakh kilometres.
