Harley-Davidson X400 T Launch: Hero MotoCorp-Harley-Davidson's second premium offering, the X400 T, has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom), the Harley-Davidson X440 T is positioned above the X440, which starts at Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the latter, the former features a sleeker and more angular rear three-quarter tail section, wider handlebars, and bar-end mirrors. The bike also gets grab handles for better pillion comfort. The brand offers four colour options: Vivid Black, Pearl Red, Pearl White & Pearl Blue.
Harley-Davidson X400 T: Safety Features
In place of the throttle cable, the X440 T gets ride-by-wire throttle, which enables switchable traction control and rear ABS. Riders can choose between two ride modes: Road and Rain. With the former, the rider can deactivate ABS and traction control. Another highlight is the segment-first panic braking alert, a feature that alerts the vehicles behind the rider in the event of sudden braking.

Harley-Davidson X400 T: Other Details
Powering the X440 T is the same 440cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine that delivers 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque. Weighing 192kg (kerb), the bike sits on an 18/17-inch wheel setup, and has a 1,418 mm wheelbase and 170 mm ground clearance. Bookings for the model begin tomorrow (December 7).
