Hero Mavrick 440 Spy Shots: Not long ago, Hero MotoCorp discontinued its Mavrick 440, based on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440, due to subdued customer demand. Interestingly, a video clip of the Hero Mavrick 440, while at a TVC shoot, has now emerged online, courtesy of Satyam Bhardwaj. The test mule appears to feature fresh updates, more in line with the unit unveiled at EICMA 2024.

New Hero Mavrick 440 Spy Shot Details

Although shot from a distance, the video shows the updated Mavrick 440 featuring an upside-down front fork (USD) finished in a golden shade, rather than a traditional telescopic fork. Another update is in the form of a new matte grey paint compared to the glossy paint finish on the previous iteration. Hero has also updated the engine casing, switching from the earlier black to a bronze/copper colour. Moreover, the test mule also appears to feature a circular TFT display, likely derived from the Harley-Davidson X440. Expect the display to be Bluetooth compatible and offer turn-by-turn navigation.

New Hero Mavrick 440 Engine Specs

The styling also seems to take cues from the updated Mavrick 440 showcased at EICMA 2024. As for what lies beneath the skin, we expect the upcoming Mavrick 440 to retain its 440cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, developed in partnership with Harley-Davidson. The engine, in the discontinued model, was tuned to produce 27bhp and 36Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.
