Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch a new motorcycle on January 23, named Mavrick. This bike will share some of its foundations with the Harley-Davidson X440. Previously, Hero released two teaser images of the upcoming motorcycle and has now unveiled a new design sketch of the Mavrick. Post its launch, the Hero Mavrick will be positioned as the brand’s flagship model in its lineup.

After seeing the teaser images, it can be noticed that the Mavrick 440 adopts a roadster design. It features a new LED headlamp with an H-shaped Daytime Running Lamp. Its design includes a muscular fuel tank with shrouds and a unified single-piece seat. Additionally, the Mavrick boasts a more contemporary and modern appearance in comparison to the Harley-Davidson X440.
Hero Mavrick - Engine Specs
In terms of engine specs, the Hero Mavrick will be powered by the same engine which is equipped in the Harley-Davidson X440. It is equipped with a 440 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that is capable of churning a power output of 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque. It will be available with a 6-speed gearbox. Hero is likely to tune the engine and gearing to align with the requirements of the Mavrick 440.
Hero Mavrick - Hardware
In contrast to the Harley X440, the Hero Mavrick will come fitted with conventional telescopic front forks instead of USD forks. It is also anticipated to be equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear, instead of the 19-inch front wheel seen on the X440. The rear of the bike will continue to have twin shock absorbers. Braking responsibilities will be handled by a disc both in the front and rear, with dual-channel ABS included as a standard offering.
